John Hanley is a native of Louisiana, where he graduated with a bachelor’s in Creative Writing and a bachelor’s in French from Louisiana State University. He then received his Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from North Carolina State University. His work has appeared in North Carolina Literary Review, swim press, Livina Press: Midnight Ink, and elsewhere.
Jes Malitoris is a nonbinary horror and dark fantasy author from Durham, NC. You can find xer short fiction in Bewildering Stories, Necksnap Magazine, Cosmic Horror Monthly, The Crawling Moon: Queer Tales of Inescapable Dread (Neon Hemlock, 2024), and very soon in The Skull & Laurel. Emma Abate is a writer from New Hampshire and recent graduate of Kenyon College. Her short fiction has been featured in Underbelly Press, NECKSNAP Magazine, Folklore Review, and other publications. She writes essays applying literary theory to folk songs on her blog Strawberry Revue. When not writing she can be found getting lost in the woods.
